Lisa Lesser is a partner at Peckar & Abramson. Ms. Lesser specializes in all aspects of construction law including counseling general contractors, construction managers, owners, developers, subcontractors and architects on contract negotiations, contract drafting, risk management, project support and disputes.

Ms. Lesser's practice emphasizes resolving complex construction disputes through negotiation, mediation, and where necessary arbitration and litigation, on public and private construction projects in New Jersey, New York and nationwide. Ms. Lesser has extensive experience litigating claims involving breach of contract, cost increase and containment, construction and design defects, warranties, liens, scheduling and delay, bonds and insurance issues before federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels. She handles mediations and arbitrations in alternative dispute resolution forums as well.

Ms. Lesser is a founding member and counsel to the New Jersey Chapter of the Professional Women in Construction. She is also a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers, the American Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association and its Section on Construction and Public Contract Law.

Ms. Lesser is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, as well as the courts of the State of New Jersey and the State of New York.

Ms. Lesser received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Ms. Lesser received her Juris Doctorate degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
