Stephen Reisman is the managing partner of
Peckar
&
Abramson's
Florida offices. His primary area of practice is construction law and includes the representation of general contractors,
and
other
construction
professionals
in the negotiation and preparation of construction documents, and the negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation of construction contract claims, construction and design defect claims, insurance claims, and related matters. Mr. Reismans construction law practice also includes project administration assistance for the early identification and resolution of potential conflicts and disputes.
Mr. Reisman
has
represented
clients
in
litigation
and
arbitration involving building cladding systems; roofing; foundations; reinforced, prestressed and post tensioned concrete construction; drywall assemblies; masonry construction; stucco;
metal
and
plastic
piping
and many other building systems and components. He has also litigated and arbitrated delay and impact claims and presented requests for equitable adjustment on public works. Mr. Reisman has served as an arbitrator in many construction disputes including large complex cases and international cases.
Mr. Reisman's general litigation practice includes real estate related litigation, banking litigation, contract disputes and business torts.
Mr. Reisman is admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida as well as all courts of the State of Florida.

Mr. Reisman is a graduate of Emory University (1973) and the University of Miami School of Law (1976).
