Nathan A. Cohen
Nathan A. Cohen is Managing Partner of Peckar & Abramson’s Los Angeles office and co-vice chair of the firm’s Construction Contracts and Risk Management practice. He focuses on construction and infrastructure law, corporate compliance/internal investigations, commercial litigation and real estate related issues. Nate’s diverse construction experience includes assisting clients in all phases of the construction process including but not limited to claims, litigation contract negotiation and serving as project counsel.

Bio
In 2021, Nate completed FIDIC Certified Course Module 2: Claims and Disputes Resolution. He is a frequently sought-after speaker and lecturer on issues related to construction and infrastructure projects. Among his current and recent matters, Nate is:
- Currently assisting with multiple claims on large airport project on the West Coast
- Representing clients on claims both during and after completion of projects
- Representing civil contractors on all areas of risk and claim mitigation
Prior to returning to Peckar & Abramson in 2018, Nate was Chief Legal Officer for a large privately-held real estate company based in Los Angeles. He actively managed and oversaw the day-to-day legal matters impacting the company while reporting directly to the Board of Directors. Prior to that, Nate was a senior associate with Peckar & Abramson where he actively participated in all aspects of the litigation process and provided clients with corporate ethics and regulatory compliance advice. Prior to Nate’s time at P&A he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia where he successfully prosecuted individuals accused of such felony offenses as complex narcotics distribution conspiracy and weapons charges.
