RegisterCurtis W. Martin, a partner in the firm’s Houston office, spoke at the Houston Bar Association Construction Law Section Luncheon meeting on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Mr. Martin’s presentation titled ” 2017 AIA Updates” focused on the updates to the standard form of agreement A101, A102, A103, A104 (previously A107), A105, A201 General Conditions and A401 Sustainable Projects Exhibit as well as revised agreements between the Owner and Architect and the Owner and Consultants. The discussion also included, but was not limited to, notice requirements, digital data and BIM, liens, claims and disputes, schedules, design, insurance and more.
