Charles E. Williams III, Partner in Peckar & Abramson’s New York office, will participate in two panel discussions at the 2019 New York State MWBE Forum. Mr. Williams’ first panel is titled “Growth Strategies: Teaming, Joint Ventures and Partnering.” This intensive session examines what MWBE firms can do to increase their capacity to bid on larger projects, revealing best practices and legal agreements you need to develop these relationships. Mr. Williams’ second panel is titled “Working on PLA Projects.” This session reviews how the process works, what you need to know to succeed on a PLA project and who can provide technical and labor assistance when there are questions. Mr. Williams’ first panel will take place from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm on Wednesday, October 2. Mr. Williams’ second panel will take place from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm on Thursday, October 3. The 2019 New York State MWBE Forum will take place on October 2 – 3 at the Empire Plaza Convention Center in Albany, New York.
