RegisterRonald Helmuth, a partner in P&A’s Los Angeles office, will participate in the panel, “Framing Your Case in Effective Dispute Resolution: What Really Works and What Doesn’t in Complex Construction Cases!” at the 36th annual Construction Super Conference. This panel will explore common missteps that counsel, principals, and witnesses alike should avoid, with a focus on streamlining issues and the presentation of evidence at arbitration, reducing both cost and emotional angst for principals, and delivering a far more satisfying and efficacious resolution process for all. During this session, attendees will learn:
- How to maintain and improve predictive skills to better understand which techniques are better for which problems in the dispute resolution process;
- How to avoid common missteps in mediation and arbitration presentations that often lead to unintended consequences; and
- How streamlining issues and presenting evidence with a focus on what the arbitrator needs (not necessarily what you think they need) can reduce costs and emotional angst for principals.
The panel will take place on Wednesday, December 7, from 2:30pm to 3:45pm PT at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
