Richard R. Volack, a partner in P&A’s New York office, will moderate “The Future is Now: A Critical Look at Emerging Construction Technology,” a panel at the 36th annual Construction Super Conference. This panel will explore the issues surrounding emerging construction technologies from a variety of viewpoints, including the manufacturer of the new technology, the legal and risk management perspective, and the implementation consultant in the field. During this panel, attendees will:

• Obtain a critical understanding of the types of new construction technologies that can be used to boost progress at a construction site and how those technologies can be used to save time and money;
• Obtain a critical understanding of the negatives and drawbacks of emerging construction technology including steep costs and learning curves and potential hacking of the technology;
• Obtain an understanding of the pro-active risk management techniques that construction companies can use to attempt to stave off cyber attacks and more!

The panel will take place on Tuesday, December 6, from 4:15pm to 5:30pm PT at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
