Charles Kenny will be speaking at the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Annual Meeting and Convention, May 13-15, 2015 at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Mr. Kenny will speak on the topic titled “Contractors Beware: Remedies Available to Contractors for Non-Payment on P3 Projects”. The discussion will focus on the remedies available to contractors for non-payment for work performed on P3 projects including, without limitation, rights available under the Municipal Mechanics’ Lien Law, Construction Lien Law, Trust Fund Act and Bond Act. In addition, Mr. Kenny will discuss prior cases including a case that the Supreme Court of New Jersey agreed to hear involving a contractor’s lien rights on P3 projects.
