RegisterTim Matheny, Co-Managing Partner in Peckar & Abramson’s Dallas office, will speak at the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA)-Southwest Region 15th Annual Conference. Mr. Matheny’s presentation is titled, “Are We There Yet? An Update of Our Journey on the Road to Use of Design-Build and Alternative Project Delivery Methods.” This presentation will provide our current location on the road map of the continuing journey to full utilization of Design-Build and other alternative project delivery methods in the Southwest Region states. It will include a review of the mile posts of current legislative authority for use of use of D/B and other alternative project delivery methods. It will also provide relevant “travel advisories” for any construction zones or detours ahead relating to issues with implementation of certain project delivery methods or current legislative efforts to either increase or curtail the use of certain project delivery methods.
Mr. Matheny’s presentation will take place on Thursday, April 25 from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm. The DBIA-Southwest Region 15th Annual Conference will take place April 25-26 at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
