Michael C. Zisa, a Partner in the firm’s Washington, DC office, will be speaking at the International Risk Management Institute’s 37th Construction Risk Conference on November 5 – 8, 2017 at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Zisa will speak during a morning session on November 7th entitled “Navigating the Construction Risk Minefield: Surety, Legal and Otherwise” which will discuss a hodgepodge of risks that can catch a contractor by surprise, including percentage bonds, joint and several liability, the False Claims Act, subcontractor distress, and challenging government agencies.
