Katz, Partner in the firm’s New Jersey office and Chair of the firm’s Corporate Law Practice Group will host a joint conference with industry experts on September 26, 2018 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The program titled “Ownership Transfer & Management Succession for Contractors: What You Need to Know.” will discuss the creation of formal plans for the next generation of contractors and succession planning as well as help identify those issues that must be addressed during the succession planning process and the various alternatives that exist for different companies. During this program, we will also discuss ownership transfer options such as Gifting Stock, Stock Redemption, Buy/Sell Agreements, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), Stock Recapitalization and others.
