Melinda S. Gentile, a Partner in the firm’s Miami office, will be speaking at The Seminar Group’s 6th Annual Construction Law seminar on October 19-20, 2017 at The Hampton Inn & Suites – Brickell Downtown, in Miami, Florida. Ms. Gentile will speak in a morning session on October 20, 2017 titled “Public Contracting Under The Trump Administration” will provide an overview of developments under the False Claims Act; impact of the Trump Administration’s immigration policies on the local workforces; use of the E-Verify system; status and future of the Obama Administration Executive Orders and policies under the Trump Administration; relaxation of regulations impacting federal contractors; impact of spending increases and decreases on construction in Florida.
