Jerry P. Brodsky, Director of Peckar & Abramson’s Latin American Practice, will co-present during the International Bar Association’s 2020 Conference. His session, “Public Infrastructure Delivery: Alternative Procurement Challenges and Opportunities” will discuss the challenges the public-private partnership model for procurement of public infrastructure is coming across in some countries and what the future holds for public infrastructure delivery. Key issues to be covered include nature of government support required; how are cost overruns dealt with; what risk transfer structure should apply; and new trends around the world. The session will take place November 5 from 11:00am EST to 12:00pm EST. The conference’s virtual sessions will run from November 2 to November 27.
