Frank M. Rapoport, partner in the firm’s New York office, will speak at the City & State’s 2018 P3 Summit & Awards. Mr. Rapoport will moderate a panel discussion titled “State of P3’s in New York.” The panel discussion will thoroughly examine the need for robust P3 legislation in the state of New York, which has not yet been enacted, in order to accelerate the delivery of projects, create private sector jobs, and achieve greater economic efficiency in New York. Experts and lawmakers will discuss if P3 legislation will benefit or hinder the market, examples from other states with P3 legislation and what these laws would mean for financing development projects in New York. Mr. Rapoport’s panel will take place from 10:15am – 11:10am.
