Peckar & Abramson is pleased to announce that Angela Connor has been elected to the Houston Bar Association Construction Law Section Governing Council.  The Council position is for a one year term and during that term the Council has general supervision and control of the affairs of the Construction Law Section.  The Houston Bar Association (HBA) was established in 1870, with the purpose of maintaining high standards in the legal profession and providing legal education for Harris County attorneys. Today, the HBA is  the fifth largest metropolitan bar association in the nation, still adheres to those basic principles, but has expanded its goals to include public service and better access to legal services for all citizens in the Greater Houston area.
