Charles F. Kenny spoke at the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) Third Annual Education Symposium on October 30, 2014 at the Hilton Newark Penn Station Gateway Center in Newark, New Jersey. During his presentation, Mr. Kenny addressed financial professionals in the construction industry concerning the differences between the laws in New York and New Jersey on how to manage risks on construction projects and how to pursue and protect their companies and clients from financial claims. Mr. Kenny also discussed indemnity issues, liens, retainage, change order notices and substantiation requirements and exceptions to no damage for delay provisions.
