Sweeney, senior associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office, authored an article in the July 2017 Practical Construction Law & Risk Issues section of the Associated General Contractors (AGC)’s Law in Brief newsletter entitled ‘Construction Defects—Breach of Contract & Negligence: Same Facts, Alternative Claims’. The article highlights main differences between a breach of contract claim and a negligence claim and ensuing legal alternatives.
