Four Peckar & Abramson Attorneys Receive 2025 Lexology Client Choice Awards in U.S. Construction Law

Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is proud to announce that founding Partner Robert S. Peckar and Partners Michael A. Branca, Jerry P. Brodsky, and Michael S. Zicherman have been honored with the 2025 Lexology Client Choice Awards for excellence in construction law.
The honorees are determined solely through client nominations, celebrating outstanding service and legal expertise. According to Lexology, the publication received over 2,500 nominations for the awards this year.

Michael is the Co-Managing Partner of P&A’s Washington, D.C. office and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. Jerry, Partner, and Director of Peckar & Abramson’s Latin American Practice, is a trilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese) Florida Bar-certified Construction Law Specialist. Michael S. Zicherman
Michael, a senior Partner in P&A’s New Jersey office, focuses on litigating, arbitrating, and appealing complex commercial and construction disputes, both domestically and internationally. He has argued cases before the highest courts in New York and New Jersey, with numerous written decisions in state and federal courts, including the landmark decision in Panasia Estates, Inc. v. Hudson Ins. Co., where he successfully argued for the insured’s rights to seek consequential damages beyond policy limits.

The Client Choice Award is granted by the International Law Office and Lexology. Regarding the Award, they state that “the Client Choice Award honors partners around the world who stand apart for their outstanding commitment to client service.” They add that this year’s awards “are a result of more than 2,500 nominations from corporate counsel; law firms and attorneys cannot self-nominate or lobby to be added to the list.” Additionally, they report that a group of researchers then evaluate client service and the ability to add real value to a client’s business, among other factors, in determining the annual award winners.”
