P&A Attorney Jennifer L. Harris Named to The National Association of Women in Construction DC Chapter Board of Directors

Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce that Jennifer L. Harris, senior counsel in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, was selected to the Board of Directors of the DC chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction for the 2023-2024 term. Effective October 1, 2023, Jennifer joined the association in its commitment to strengthening and amplifying the success of women in the construction industry by providing education, community, and advocacy.

About Jennifer L. Harris
Jennifer is a construction law and government contracts attorney. She represents general contractors and subcontractors in matters involving claims for nonpayment, mechanic’s liens, wage and hour claims, design defects, and delay and disruption claims, as well as the representation of clients in the investigation and defense of payment and performance bond claims and indemnity actions. Jennifer also represents individuals and entities in real estate transactions, land-use litigation, latent defect and warranty cases, and contract disputes.
Jennifer has been named to the Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers Rising Stars list and the Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” list. She holds a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the Heuisler Honor Society and the Executive Board of the University of Baltimore Law Review. Jennifer also clerked for the Third Judicial Circuit of Maryland and completed externships with the U.S. Department of Labor – OSHA and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She earned her B.A. from the University of Maryland at College Park.
