Jerry Brodsky, was quoted in a cover story in The Miami Herald’s Business Monday section entitled “Miami is Betting Big that Expansion of Panama Canal Will Bring in Megaships” published on September 22, 2014. Mr. Brodsky commented on a financing deal he recently completed that provided a $400 million surety bond from Zurich Insurance Group, who he has represented since 2006. The financing deal was used as backing while an international consortium of companies that is the main contractor of the canal expansion, sought more resources to finish the canal expansion. The complex deal helped move the project forward. “Nothing we see financially should affect completion of the project at this point,” Mr. Brodsky said.
