Lori Ann Lange, a Partner in the firms Washington, D.C. office, authored a bylined article which published on July 28, 2016 for the National Association of Surety Bond Producers entitled ” SBA Expands Its Mentor-Protégé Program To All Types of Small Businesses”. The article addresses the U.S. Small Business Administration final rule establishing a new and expanded mentor-protégé program for all types of small businesses. The final rule, issued on July 25, 2016, expands the small business mentor-protégé program to all types of small businesses, so that, in addition to 8(a) small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, women-owned small businesses, and service-disabled veteran-owner small businesses are eligible to participate in the small business mentor-protégé program.
