Melinda S. Gentile and Monique S. Cardenas co-authored a bylined article entitled “The Diversity Dividend: Diversity Does Pay” which published in the Spring 2017 issue of The Construction Lawyer, a Journal of the ABA Forum on Construction Law. The article describes the diversity dividend, the trend among Fortune 500 companies. Major corporations showing a commitment to diversity include Microsoft, Wal-Mart, Apple, IBM and AT&T. Although diversity in the law in slow, construction companies such as Turner Construction Co., Gilbane Building Co., Austin Industries and Bechtel Corp. are making a difference.
