About the Attorneys
Benjamin J. Hochberg (River Edge, NJ) focuses his practice on construction and commercial litigation in New Jersey and New York. Over his tenure, Benjamin has represented general contractors, construction managers, project owners, and other construction professionals in a range of matters including, but not limited to, contract disputes and pre-litigation dispute resolution, personal injury and property damage claims, risk transfer and insurance coverage disputes, delay claims, and construction-defect actions with seven and eight-figure claims. Benjamin also has substantial, firsthand experience in accident investigation. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where he participated in the Rutgers National Mock Trial Team, and his B.A. from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Mark A. Snyder (New York, NY) represents contractors in developing and litigating claims on complex commercial projects, in disputes involving construction inefficiencies, delays, differing site conditions, design errors and omissions, extra work, and wrongful termination claims on projects in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Mark is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, and New York Bar Association and has also been named to the Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” list. He earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College, where he played four years of varsity football.
Lauren Rayner Davis (River Edge, NJ) practices labor and employment law, representing employers on a wide range of issues such as unfair labor practices, agency and workplace investigations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, terminations and layoffs, reasonable accommodations, application of state and federal family and medical leave laws, wage and hour compliance, and providing day-to-day advice on related legal issues. She is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, and New York City Bar Association, as well as the Defense Research Institute (DRI) serving as a member of the employment law, women in law, and young lawyers’ committees. Lauren earned her B.A. from the University of Southern California and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she served on the executive editorial board of the Brooklyn Law Review and received the Hoffman Memorial Prize for Excellence in Corporate Law.
Jeffrey A. Strauss (Dallas, TX) focuses his practice on construction litigation, residential construction, and commercial dispute resolution. His experience includes working closely with clients from the start to completion of their cases, including handling pre-suit investigations, pre-trial hearings, settlement negotiations, and trials. Jeff has also represented large manufacturers in product liability claims and defended claims involving professional liability, mass torts, and catastrophic personal injury. He earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School, where he served as Managing Editor for the Environmental Law Journal, and his B.A. from Louisiana State University.
