About the Attorneys
Charles E. Fombrun (Miami, FL) focuses on the representation of contractors, subcontractors, owners, and other construction professionals on commercial, governmental, and residential projects, including transactional matters and litigation disputes. Over the years, Charles has had extensive experience serving as both counselor and advocate for his clients in significant legal matters involving contract disputes, insurance coverage and disputes, personal injury, premises liability, professional liability, negligence, consumer protection claims, construction defect claims, and other general commercial matters. He holds a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Miami. Over the past few years, Charles has also been named and recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
Jennifer Harris (Washington D.C) is a construction and government contracts attorney. She represents general contractors and subcontractors on public and private projects, including claims for nonpayment, mechanic’s liens, design defects, and delay and disruption claims. Throughout her career, Jennifer has counseled her clients in arbitrations, mediations, and all stages of state and federal litigation, including jury trials and appeals. She has been named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list and the DC Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. Jennifer holds a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and a B.A. from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Mark A. Snyder (New York, NY) represents contractors in developing and litigating claims on complex commercial projects, in disputes against owners, subcontractors, and designers involving construction inefficiencies, delays, differing site conditions, design errors and omissions, extra work, and wrongful termination claims on projects in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, New York Bar Association, and New York City Bar Association – Construction Law Section and has also been named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list. He earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College, where he played four years of varsity football.
Cornelius F. “Lee” Banta (Houston, TX) has broad experience with various construction-related disputes, including delay and disruption, lien and bond claims, construction defect litigation, and general commercial matters. He has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, and materialmen at all stages in the litigation process and has obtained favorable judgments for his clients. Lee earned his J.D. at The University of Houston Law Center and his B.A. in History from Amherst College. He has also been named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list.
Brian C. Glicos (River Edge, NJ) focuses the majority of his practice on construction law, representing construction managers and general contractors in various related matters within the construction industry, including construction defect cases, delay and disruption claims, change order and extra work claims, and contract disputes. He earned his undergraduate degree from Monmouth University, Honors School, and J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. While attending law school, he interned for the Honorable Claire C. Cecchi, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey, held a clerkship in the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, and participated in the Seton Hall Equal Justice Clinic.
Stormy Mayfield (Houston, TX) specializes in construction law and litigation, corporate law, and labor and employment litigation. She also assists clients in drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on corporate formation, and governance and compliance matters in a proactive effort to avoid litigation. She holds a J.D. from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sewanee: University of the South.
Brett J. Moritz (Miami, FL) assists clients in their transactional and litigation matters for all manner of construction projects, representing developers, contractors, construction managers, and other construction professionals. He works with clients before, during, and after construction, starting with drafting and negotiating contracts and ending with successful resolution of disputes. Brett is also an active member of the Young Professionals Committee of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Florida East Coast Chapter, and is recognized by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers. He holds a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif.
Anne-Solenne Rolland (Miami, FL) represents national and regional contractors and other industry professionals in construction-related matters, including but not limited to pre-litigation notices of claim, establishing and defending claims of liens, litigating breaches of contract, delay claims, employment disputes and surety demands whether in arbitration, state court, or federal court. Anne-Solenne earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Stefanie A. Salomon (Miami, FL) focuses on contract negotiation, project management, commercial construction dispute resolution, and construction defect litigation. She has extensive litigation and trial experience, representing clients in state and federal court. Her litigation expertise includes motion practice, taking and defending depositions, and her successful representation of clients in multimillion-dollar litigation. Stefanie is on the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together Broward County. She has been named to the Best Lawyers Ones to Watch list for the past few years and is recognized by Super Lawyers. She earned her B.S. degree in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University and J.D. from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where she graduated cum laude.
Jeffrey A. Strauss (Dallas, TX) focuses his practice on construction litigation, residential construction, and commercial dispute resolution. His experience includes working closely with clients from the start to completion of their cases, including handling pre-suit investigations, pre-trial hearings, settlement negotiations, and trials. Jeff has also represented large manufacturers in product liability claims and defended claims involving professional liability, mass torts, and catastrophic personal injury. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University (LSU) and J.D. from Tulane University Law School, where he served as Managing Editor for the Environmental Law Journal.
Lucas T. Daniels (Washington, DC) represents construction professionals and sureties in various matters and is skilled in contract negotiation and interpretation. He counsels and represents clients to solve legal issues in State and Federal Courts and administrative boards, arbitrations, and mediations. He holds a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law and was a member of the Trial Advocacy Association, Moot Court Board, and Phi Alpha Delta.
Kevin M. Foltmer (River Edge, NJ) concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on construction litigation. He represents contractors and other businesses in litigation in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings. He received his B.A. summa cum laude from State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. cum laude from Notre Dame Law School. Kevin has also been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Besar Thaci (New York, NY) represents clients in New York state and federal courts and is skilled in handling cases from inception to trial, including trying cases as first and second chair. He also has experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, including contracts for the sale of real property, leases, asset purchase agreements, and various other commercial contracts. Besar is recognized by New York Super Lawyers and has been named to their Rising Stars list for the past few years. He received his law degree from the University of Tirana and two Master of Law Degrees from Stockholm University, Sweden, and Pace Law School.
Robert H. Bell (New York, NY) represents corporate and individual clients in relation to a variety of government regulatory and enforcement matters brought by the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and other federal state, and local agencies. He has an active civil litigation practice in state and federal courts and has performed a substantial amount of pro bono work. Jenifer B. Minsky (River Edge, NJ) regularly assists contractors in managing significant construction contract risks. She has extensive experience reviewing contracts and litigating construction disputes, including claims arising from delays, construction and design defects, liens, and construction accidents. Jenifer is recognized by Best Lawyers. She received her B.A. from the University of Delaware and her J.D. cum laude from Brooklyn Law School.
