Patrick J. Greene, Jr.,  a partner in the firm’s New Jersey office, authored an article in the AGC of America Newsletter, Volume 3, Issue 1, January 2017, titled “Managing the Risks of Subcontract Claims”.  The article discusses the importance of well-crafted subcontract documents to anticipate the nature of probable risks and provide mechanisms for allocating potential financial consequences among the parties.  It also discusses the risks contractor’s face relating to subcontractor claims, where the risks derive from and urges risk management professionals and/or attorneys to employ concerted strategies, specialized subcontract provisions and disciplined procedures throughout contract performance in order to avoid such risks.
