Peckar & Abramson Partner Charles E. Williams, III Receives the Building Trades Employers’ Association (BTEA)’s 2021 MWBE Leadership Award

National construction law firm Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce that New York partner Charles E. Williams, III has been named a recipient of the Building Trades Employers’ Association (BTEA)’s 2021 MWBE Leadership Award.
Building Trades Employers’ Association (BTEA) states the award, “recognizes leaders whose determination and guidance through the challenges of the past year transformed the industry, MWBE community and the City’s emergency response effort.” Charles was recognized at the BTEA Transformative Leaders Awards on November 8, 2021, at Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.
Firm Chair Steven M. Charney, who presented this award, commented, “Charles has deservedly been recognized for a number of prestigious awards this year, and this MWBE Leadership honor further acknowledges his presence as a leader, both in our firm and across the industry.”

Charles is a partner in the Construction & Infrastructure and Surety Law practices at Peckar & Abramson. He focuses his practice on construction, real property and government relations issues and commercial litigation, including the representation of sureties.
Charles is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College and his law degree from Columbia University School of Law.
