Peckar & Abramson, PC Continues Growth of Texas Construction & Infrastructure Practice with the Arrival of Three Attorneys

HOUSTON, TX. – October 17, 2019 – The Texas offices of national construction law firm Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) continue the expansion of the firm’s capabilities with the arrival of three highly talented litigation and corporate attorneys, Partner Timothy A. Rothberg, Senior Counsel Jonathan Scott Miles and Associate Ian Fullington.
P&A Chairman, Steven M. Charney, welcomed the firm’s newest Texas-based attorneys, commenting “Tim, Jonathan and Ian broaden the firm’s presence in Houston and Dallas as we add three attorneys who share P&A’s vision, collaborative culture and commitment to delivering results, which has been central to our practice across the United States for over four decades.”

Mr. Rothberg provides both litigation services and corporate advice, and his trial experience includes both appellate and lower court verdicts in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
Curt Martin, Co-Managing Partner of the firm’s Texas practice, lauded the arrival of Jonathan Scott Miles, saying “Jonathan’s range of experience, both in private practice and as general counsel within construction and related industries, makes him an ideal addition to our team as we continue to expand our capabilities in Houston and across Texas. Mr. Miles’ experience includes advising clients on a wide range of commercial litigation and corporate concerns, particularly in the construction and energy sectors. Prior to joining Peckar & Abramson, Mr. Miles served as Corporate Counsel for The Brock Group and as Vice President and General Counsel for Houston’s Wolfcreek Group. In these roles, he negotiated significant contracts, resolved business disputes, and managed claims and litigation, and was responsible for the development of risk management strategies and corporate governance.
Timothy Matheny, Co-Managing Partner for Texas and based in the firm’s Dallas office, discussed the arrival of Ian Fullington, “Ian is a talented leader who serves as Chair of the Dallas Young Lawyers Division of the Texas State Bar and has immersed himself in the broader Texas construction industry through his affiliation in TEXO and other important industry organizations. Mr. Fullington focuses his practice on construction litigation, commercial dispute resolution and construction defect litigation. He has significant experience with Texas lien and bond claims.
