Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce its support for the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and Women in Construction (WIC) Week, taking place March 3-9, 2019. P&A joins NAWIC to highlight the successes, contributions and evolution of women in the construction industry. Throughout WIC Week, the firm will support local NAWIC chapters across the country in connection with numerous service opportunities and a variety of events.

P&A partner Melinda Gentile, Chair of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Initiative and former President of NAWIC’s Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter 78, noted, “We are very proud to participate in WIC Week and look forward to enhancing the role of women in construction through this effort.”

Ms. Gentile’s colleagues and NAWIC members, Tracey Williams and Angela Connor, are actively participating in the Dallas and Houston NAWIC Chapters and WIC Week 2019. Ms. Williams, a member of NAWIC’s Dallas Chapter 2 and an associate in P&A’s Dallas offce, serves on the WIC Week and PR/Marketing Committees. Her responsibilities include encouraging support and participation among NAWIC members and construction industry organizations.

Houston, Texas senior associate Angela Connor will also play a role in NAWIC by participating in the South-Central Regional Forum on April 5-6 at the Menger Hotel in San Antonio.
