Peckar & Abramson Welcomes Partner Nicholas Zaita to New Jersey Office; Three Associates Join New York and Texas Offices

National construction law firm Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce that Nicholas J. Zaita has joined the firm’s New Jersey office as Partner. In addition, K. Greer Kuras and Anthony Melon have joined the firm’s New York office as Associates, and Kellie Ros has joined the firm’s Houston, Texas office as an Associate. The arrival of these attorneys marks the further growth of P&A’s construction practice.

About Nicholas Zaita
Nicholas Zaita is a highly proficient, sought-after litigator representing top heavy-highway construction contractors, as well as specialty subcontractors and engineering firms, in state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey. Nick consistently puts clients’ interests first, helping them achieve successful results, whether through private mediation, arbitration, or in trial. Having a well-earned reputation as a trusted advisor, he also serves as corporate counsel for many clients, providing legal guidance on contract drafting and negotiations, employment policies, and insurance coverage. In 2018, Nick was appointed to serve on the New Jersey Supreme Court Fee Arbitration Committee as a panel chair for the Bergen County District Fee Arbitration Committee. Greer Kuras represents contractors, construction managers, and other industry professionals in a wide range of construction-related litigation matters. Her commercial litigation experience includes representing companies in complex breach, default, fraud, and corporate organization cases in federal, state, and appellate courts. Greer strategically resolves disputes as efficiently and effectively as possible for clients. She earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
About Anthony Melon
Anthony Melon has significant experience in construction litigation and has effectively represented clients in construction and engineering defect cases, breach of contract disputes, and a variety of related matters within the construction industry. In addition, he has assisted clients in the areas of contract negotiations, shareholder disputes, regulatory compliance, and government contracts. Whether it be in litigation or contract negotiation, Anthony understands that a successful outcome requires immersion in details and creative problem solving. He received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from Rutgers University.
About Kellie Ros
Kellie Ros focuses her practice on construction litigation and dispute resolution. Having “grown up” in construction, she has a keen understanding of the industry and a pragmatic approach to resolving problems. Before graduating from law school, Kellie served as a summer associate at P&A. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the South Texas College of Law Houston and her B.S. from Clemson University.
