Todd Colvard, a Partner in the firm’s Houston office, recently spoke at the quarterly meeting of the Southeast Texas Damage Prevention Council.  The Council’s purpose is to facilitate underground utility damage prevention, promote excavation best practices, and contribute towards public safety, education, and environmental protection through communication between excavators and stakeholders.

Mr. Colvard’s presentation focused on the effective use of electronic communication and the potential pitfalls and hazards of the most common form of communication in business today.   Attendees learned how to more effectively use electronic communication and to avoid the bad email or text message that can have adverse consequences to a business.
