Peckar & Abramson Attorney Charles Williams Named to City & State New York’s MWBE Power 50 List

National construction law firm Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce that Partner Charles E. Williams, III, has been named to City & State New York’s MWBE Power 50 list.
According to City & State New York, the MWBE Power 50 list “recognizes the most influential individuals involved in government contracting for firms owned by women and minorities, including public officials, business owners, industry leaders and advocates.”

About Charles Williams
Charles E. Williams III is a Partner in the Construction and Real Estate Law groups at Peckar & Abramson. He focuses his practice on construction, real property and government relations issues and commercial litigation, including the representation of sureties.
Charles has tried numerous cases in New York State courts and frequently represents clients in actions in the federal courts in both New York and New Jersey. In addition, he conducts seminars for both clients and governmental entities concerning the laws and regulations that govern the certification of Minority/Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (M/W/DBE) and the computation of the participation of these businesses on projects to satisfy statutory and/or contractual utilization goals.
Charles has been named to the New York Metro Super Lawyers list since 2006. He received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College.
